Donald Trump and his White House staff have wasted no time instructing attorney Charles J Harder to send a cease and desist letter to Steve Bannon in an effort to stop the publication of the book “Fire And Fury Inside The Trump White House”, written by Michael Wolff.
The legal letter mentioned above has now been published in the Washington Post. Henry Holt and Co the publisher of the book and the author Mr Wollf are yet to comment, you can read this letter in full by clicking on the link at the end of this article
Why are Donald Trump and his White House staff so worried? Why not just call it fake news as has been their method of treating bad news in the past. The answer maybe is that “Fire and Fury inside the White House” contains some pretty explosive stuff and has to be dealt with; I will leave you to be the judge.
I think the BBC sums up some of the major shockers so with their permission I will add them here.
The Trump team was shocked and horrified by his election win
His wife, Melania, was in tears of sadness on election night
Mr Trump was angry that A-list stars had snubbed his inauguration
The new president "found the White House to be vexing and even a little scary"
His daughter, Ivanka, had a plan with her husband, Jared Kushner, that she would be "the first woman president"
Ivanka Trump mocked her dad's "comb-over" hairstyle and "often described the mechanics behind it to friends"
So what do you think Fake News or not
