Michigan University 'student guns down parents in dorm'

Just one day after leaving a hospital for a drug related incident, a 19-year-old second-year student, James Eric Davis, studying at a Central Michigan University has been arrested, after gunning down his parents when they arrived to pick him up for spring break.

The two victims 47-year-old Diva Davis and her husband 48-year-old James Eric Davis Sr, a serving police officer in the Chicago police force were confirmed dead at the scene by the local coroner’s office.

The motive for the shooting is not known yet, but the student was apprehended after he was spotted by a passenger traveling on a train which was passing through the north end of the campus of the Central Michigan University.

Authors note: Sorry to say this is yet again another tragic example of indiscriminate gun violence happening within the classrooms and grounds of American schools and universities. The campus was also a operating under a gun free zone campus policy.
